Reporting a wrong figure
If a calculator disagrees with your payslip, HMRC's own estimator or a GOV.UK page, please tell us. The most useful reports include the salary and options you entered, the figure you expected, and where that figure came from. Confirmed errors are corrected on the site and noted on the methodology page.
Questions about a calculation
We are happy to show the working behind any number the site produces. We cannot, however, give personal tax or financial advice: for that, HMRC (0300 200 3300 for income tax queries) and an FCA-regulated adviser are the right places.
